The Wolf

Tonight I needed to go to the library to return some books and movies. Our van is at the dealer getting work done, so I needed to take Rob's car to the library. As I was putting the car seats in Robs car and the kids were playing in the garage and driveway, my neighbor across the street tells me that I need to get the kids in the house because there is a wolf loose in the neighborhood and she has called 911. I look up and see this huge wolf about two houses away walking down the street. I pick up Callie and Jack and head into the house and close the garage door. Then Jack tells me that he left my cell phone in the driveway. We went to the window to watch the wolf and by this time the wolf was in our front yard. Then it started to pour rain. The rain made the wolf run from our yard but the car seat and my cell phone were still outside getting rained on in the driveway. I opened the garage door a little to get my cell phone shortly after the rain started but it is still got wet and is acting funny. The car seat got soaked. I didn't see the wolf again after about the first 10 to 15 minutes after we came inside but we did see the sheriff trucks and cars driving up and down the street. So we never got to the library because by the time all the wolf frenzy calmed down it was too late and the library had closed. The weird thing was seeing this wolf in the yard and so close up. It was so big like the size of a great dane and looked like something from the nature channel or zoo. The picture is what the wolf looked like.

So scary to have a wolf it your yard. Yikes. I didn't even know there were wolfs in Florida - did it escape from the zoo or something?

That is so crazy! I had no idea they had wolves in Florida. Did you ever hear more about it? What an adventure!
