1 month old

Nola is still a little high maintenance and loves to be held during the day. She also loves movement so I often just pace around the house and she is happy as can be and as soon as I stop she will start crying. Nola likes her swing but does not like her bouncy seat at all. She also likes the car and it is one of the few places she seems to be happy while she is awake and not being held. She still is a great sleeper at night and is only waking up once sometimes twice a night to eat and goes right back to sleep.

Hudson loves Nola and has a hard time leaving her alone. He is always asking to hold her and finds her anytime she is sleeping and tries and usually succeeds at waking her up. I love the fact that he always wants to play with her but sometimes I wish she had a barrier around her so she can get a good nap and I can get things done.

Jack's Soccer and Star Wars party

In September, Jack started soccer again. He is much more confident this season and has even made a few goals.

His fans come to cheer him on

Jack also had a Star Wars party with some church friends at our home to watch the season premiere of Clone Wars.

Playing a "bombing game" where one team threw balls at the other team's Star Wars action figures set up on the floor below and got points for how many they knocked down

Nola's First Bath

Nola was not sure what to think at first of her bath...

But then decided she was not a big fan....

Afterwards, she took a nap with daddy to recover from her traumatic bath experience....
Her hair always sticks straight up after a bath.

Our New Baby

Nola Chase Lambourne was born August 31, 2010 at 9:20 am. She weighed 6lbs 10oz. and was 19" long. She is our first baby to come with lots of hair. She sleeps a lot and likes to be held A LOT but sleeps really well at night.
