Jack turned 5 today! It is so hard to believe he is 5 years old. I feel like at five he is now no longer a toddler but is now officially a kid. Jack is very excited about being 5. Since his birthday fell on a weekday, we did not get to celebrate too much, however, Jack got his favorite dinner and dessert-Salmon, Tilapia, broccoli, corn on the cob, chocolate pudding and ice cream. He also opened presents from his Nana and Opa. Jack's birthday party with family and friends will be this Saturday at the park. Five fun things about Jack are:
1. Jack wants to be a heart doctor when he grows up. He is also very interested right now in learning all about the body. All that he asked for his birthday was for human body books and he loves to play all these fun body games on the computer placing the organs, muscles, and bones in their correct places.
2. Jack likes to draw and make crafts. His favorite thing to draw is monsters.
3. Jack has a great laugh and laughs very very easily. The smallest things will send him into a fit of laughter.
4. Jack loves to be outdoors. He could spend all day outside if we let him. He loves bugs and lizards and likes to pick them up(I do not like when he picks them up but that does come in handy if I need a bug killed in the house or the time a lizard got in the house).
5. Jack is a talker! He loves to talk and will talk to anybody. He is not shy and loves to ask everybody he meets lots of questions and talk as much as they will listen.
