8 on the 8th

On April 8th, Jack turned 8. On his birthday, we took Jack all by himself out to dinner. He chose Outback because he wanted to have the cheese fries and we ordered him an order all for himself. It was nice to be able to spend time with just him and give him all of our attention.

On Saturday, we threw Jack a party with his friends at Monster Mini-golf.
Grandma made him Monster golf cookie cakes
The party started off with a few games including a Mummy wrap relay

Then, the kids played a round of mini golf.

The party ended with playing games in the arcade.

Jack also got to add his handprint in glow in the dark paint on the wall.

We ran out of time at mini golf to open Jack's presents so he opened them when he got home.

He loved all his gifts but his favorite presents were the gift cards which he has already spent on video games.

Jack is a fun, curious kid that is always full of energy and always asking questions. He likes playing video games, playing board games, and doing anything outside. He also is doing really well at playing the piano. He has been taking lessons for about six months and is picking it up very fast. We love you Jack!
