So Summer has officially begun and I am struggling to keep the kids busy(especially Jack). Jack tends to get bored easily and his favorite activity is teasing Callie which causes for a lot of sibling squabbles. So I try to keep the kids entertained so they don't kill each other and drive me crazy in the process. So far, Jack is doing swimming lessons and basketball but it is still not enough. It seems like we can not have one day at home without the kids finding themselves fighting and it is often too hot to send them outside to play. So I am still searching for ways to get the kids out of the house or have their friends over to play. Summer so far is turning into a workout keeping up my kids social calendar and getting them ready and out of the house every day. I thought summertime was a time when I could get projects done around the house, but I think I will have to wait till school starts up again.

That was always my moms goal with us kids - especially since I had 4 brothers. The busier we were the better!! I am not really liking the summer too much when it's well over 100 degrees here and there is not much you can do with a 4 1/2 month old baby anyway . .. so I'm getting used to being cooped up in the air conditioning.
Ann sent me the link to your blog, it looks really great. I can't beleive how big your kids are getting! They are so cute. I wish we all lived closer so our kids could get to know each other- they are all so close in age. Will you be making a trip back to CO or CA this summer?
