WET!

Today I had a million things I wanted/needed to get done. One of them was packing away Callie's winter clothes to have more space for her spring/summer clothes and organizing her drawers. The kids were playing really well together so I thought that was the perfect time to tackle that project. About 10 to 15 minutes into the project, I realized that the kids had become very quiet so I went to see what they were up to. This is what I found.....

They had climbed into the tub in our master bath and Jack had turned on the water. Thankfully, we do not keep the stopper in the tub so the water could not fill up. They had a cup that they were using to pour water on themselves and the floor. So they were both soaked from head to toe and the floor was covered in water. When I left to get towels to start to dry them off, Jack followed me even though I told him to stay put and tracked water through my bedroom, living room, and kitchen. So now I have a bunch more clean up chores added to my list and a load of wet towels to add to the other 3 loads of laundry waiting. At least, the kids had fun till they were discovered and I am appreciating naptime even more today:)

I love Callie's classic guilty smile!

I would die. I guess having two kids never gets easier huh. I am sure you will laugh about it later. You are smart to get pictures - I would have been so frazzled and forgotten.

That's classic. I just have to tell you that my friends 3 year old just ruined the whole house last week due to the bath tub! I didn't realize how many problems they can cause. :)

Quiet kids = more work for you.

But props for getting a picture! I think that'll come in handy in a few years.
