Colds and Birds

This weekend, the kids and I have bad colds. Rob had a bad cold early in the week and went to the doctor at his work who gave him antibiotics for a sinus infection. Now, the kids and I caught it. I started feeling sick on Friday so I was happy that it was the weekend and Rob would be home to help me so I could rest. Luckily, Rob is feeling fine so he can take care of the rest of us. On Friday, I went to bed early and Rob stayed up with the kids and cleaned the whole kitchen-even inside the oven! I felt so spoiled! On Saturday, we just stayed around the house and really didn't do much of anything. Today, we are all feeling worse so no one made it to church. Rob took Jack to the walk-in clinic today because he got a lot worse last night and this morning. He has bronchitis and now is on antibiotics. Hopefully, we will all feel better soon! This morning I woke up to this loud fluttering and noise outside and could see a bunch of white through the blinds passing by the french doors in our bedroom. Rob opens up the blinds to find a whole flock of White Ibises making theirselves at home right in our backyard. They completely covered the yard. We tried taking pictures through the window but they did not turn out too good and when we opened the door to get a better picture, they all flew away. We at least were able to watch them with the kids for about 5 minutes before we scared them off.
